Tottenham Hotspur have been forced to re-schedule medical tests for Israeli forward Manor Solomon to next week, claims  Fabrizio Romano. There aren’t any stumbling blocks over the deal, which should be over the line soon.

Tottenham Hotspur to Complete Manor Solomon Signing Soon

Tottenham Push Back Solomon Medical Date

The 23-year-old winger had a topsy-turvy campaign with Fulham in the 2022/23 season, suffering an injury issue that kept him sidelined for multiple months. However, he recovered well after the FIFA World Cup break and ended the season with five goals from 24 appearances – including four in the Premier League.

His performances impressed Spurs enough to make a move and convince him to join them. Romano adds that there are no issues or fears around this free transfer being in danger and that the Lilywhites have only decided to push back his medical tests for a few days.

It’s stated that the plan is for the medicals to take place in the first few days of next week (second week of July) after which the deal should be confirmed. Romano also reiterates that Solomon has decided to join the North London heavyweights and that he will be unveiled as a new signing a week later than initially planned.

What Can Solomon Bring to Spurs?

After hiring Ange Postecoglou as their new manager, Spurs have been making moves in the transfer market and have already added a quality midfielder in the form of James Maddison to their squad for the upcoming campaign. It appears that they’re now close to completing the signing of another skilful player.

Solomon is a tricky left-winger, who has a similar style to Arjen Robben – being able to move past bodies and cut into central areas from the left. He is blessed with pace and plenty of trickery, which can make him a solid alternative to Son Heung-Min as well. The 23-year-old has been branded as “underrated” for going under the radar despite his impressive performances for Fulham. If he can stay fully fit at Spurs, then the Israeli winger can be a clever addition to the Tottenham attack.
