Premier League champions Manchester City mocked Liverpool's 'This Means More' slogan after winning their fourth consecutive league.

The Anfield team had been mocked after their defender Trent Alexander-Arnold said that trophies meant more" at their club.

City had not taken those comments positively and mocked Alexander-Arnold's statements, tweeting THIS MEANS FOUR" after winning fourth successive titles.

At the time, Alexander-Arnold said: "We're up against a machine that's built to win that's the simplest way to describe City and their organization. Looking back on this era, although they've won more titles than us and have probably been more successful, our trophies will mean more to us and our fanbase because of the situations at both clubs, financially. How both clubs have built their teams and the manner in which we've done it, probably means more to our fans."

Forward Erling Haaland had responded days later: If he wants to say that, okay.

I've been here one year and I won the treble. It was quite a nice feeling, I don't think he knows exactly this feeling. So, yeah, that's what I felt last season and it was quite nice, so yeah."
